Protecting public-facing professionals from online abuse: a new project in which Efus is a partner
As part of our on-going work on preventing polarisation and its far-reaching impacts, we've joined as partners a new EU-funded project, Osprey (Online Safety and Security for Protection of
Public-Facing Professionals and Democratic Resilience). The objective is to better protect public-facing professionals who are increasingly targeted by online abuse, intimidation, threats and coordinated disinformation campaigns. Led by the Centre of Excellence in Terrorism, Resilience, Intelligence and Organised Crime Research (CENTRIC) of the Sheffield Hallam University (UK), the project started in December for a duration of three years.
