Ending physical and digital violence against women and girls

Each year on the 25th of November, we mark the United Nations’ International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. It is a scourge that affects a staggering one in three women around the world.

The UN focuses this year's campaign on gender-based violence in the digital realm, a serious and rapidly growing threat that seeks to silence the voices of many women – especially those with a strong public and digital presence in fields such as politics, activism, or journalism. We at Efus wholeheartedly support this campaign. (Photo ©iStock Xavier Lorenzo)

Mental health: let's talk on our Safer Together group

Mental health is a growing matter of concern for local authorities across Europe. An increasing number of citizens are reporting feeling depressed, anxious, or other mental health troubles, and this has an impact on many aspects of society including urban security. This is why we decided to join as partners the Respect to Protect European project.

🎙️We are also preparing a podcast episode on this all-important issue.
