Acting against discrimination for safer cities
On the eve of Pride Month (1-30 June), we at Efus reaffirm our support to minorities of all types against discrimination. We believe that preventing and fighting discriminatory violence is a key part of making our cities safe and peaceful for all citizens. Strategies against hatred and intolerance should be fully

integrated into local security policy agendas. Indeed, discriminatory violence is a central issue that impacts the safety of whole groups of population and reverberates on social cohesion and universal rights. (Illustration: iStock - AlonzoDesign)

Efus supports local and regional authorities in improving their ability to respond to digital and security challenges, strengthen coordination with emergency services and protect local communities. This is why we are partners in the SPARROW European project, which aims to strengthen resilience against natural and digital crises.
